Basic Survival Skills Module 1 Learning From History, Using Water and the World Around Us for Nutrition

Thankfully, catastrophic events that bring about societal collapse rarely happen, but will you be prepared if it does? Module one examines historical examples that took a long time for some semblance of normalcy to return. Module one also looks at sources of water and water storage and disinfection and how to address each, in case of a disaster. Finally, module one discusses food storage, gathering and hunting, food preservation, and cooking methods to use when surviving in the event of a disaster.

Basic Survival Skills Module 2 Keeping Our Bodies Safe

All the medical equipment on the planet will not do much good if you don't know how to use them properly. Module two examines the type of medical training and supplies you should become familiar with, for basic first aid for survival. Also included in module two is basic ideas on how to keep your hygiene under control when you have limited water and cleaning supplies. Finally, module two discusses how to keep appropriate shelter and clothing when off the grid.

Basic Survival Skills Module 3 Basic Security and Survival

Security planning should involve defensive weapons, structure hardening, alarm devices and situational awareness. Module three examines each of these in order to prepare you for keeping your family safe during a crisis. Also included in module three is a careful look at the types of tools one needs to complete general home repairs as well as building in the wilderness. Often overlooked is entertainment. Entertainment is necessary for mental survival. Module three shares ideas of how to overcome boredom and find enjoyment in a variety of things.

Basic Survival Skills Module 4 Working With Others for Ultimate Survival

Barter and trade work on a similar principle. In module four, both are discussed and highly encouraged to be considered so that you are prepared for a disaster. The basic rules of bartering are also discussed in module four. A group of people will stand a much better chance at long-term survival than the lone individual and module four delves into how to work together as a community in order to survive by sharing skillsets. Although no-one wants a disaster to take place, it is important to consider the final tips included in module four, so that you are prepared for the worst.
