The plastering advanced course is suitable for anyone with basic plastering skills, or anyone who has undertaken a basic/DIY plastering course. Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll be able to undertake higher plastering courses that could lead your plastering career to NVQ qualifications.

While each training provider’s course programme for plastering advanced will differ slightly, the advanced course in general, will usually focus on improving your speed without compromising quality and safely and imparting advanced methods and tips of the trade.

The plastering advanced course and all trade courses for that matter are based on practical, on-site and hands-on training. Most learning providers will provide tools and materials but you will be required to wear suitable clothing and protective footwear (preferably steel toed), which is compulsory.

After completing the plastering advanced course

After successfully completing the plastering advance course, if you need to learn more about plastering but are not yet ready to commit to a longer programme, consider undertaking dry lining, patch plastering and coving or external wall insulation courses.
