About this course

This course is all about learning how to play classical guitar pieces by great composers like J.S. Bach, Francisco Tarrega, and Fernando Sor. By following the lessons and putting in the time to practice, you'll be able to perform each one of these five pieces from beginning to end.

The course is taught by breaking a piece of music into small parts, and teaching you to play each part. You can pick and choose which piece they want to learn.

You will learn by following along with a guitar in hand, and by putting in time practicing. The amount of practice time will vary from person to person, but be prepared to spend a couple of minutes at the very least practicing for every minute of video.

The main content of the course is video lectures, with multiple camera angles to ensure that you'll be able to see both hands clearly. There are PDF files of the sheet music in both standard notation and guitar tablature included.

Depending on the amount of time that you practice, the course will take at least several weeks to complete for most students. You may finish much sooner, or you may take much longer but you should be prepared to give the information in the course plenty of time to simmer, so that you get the most out of the course.

By taking the course, you'll be able to actually see and hear exactly how to play these classical guitar pieces, and you won't have to worry about getting stuck, because you'll be able to ask questions in the student forum and receive from e-mail support from me.
