About this course
Christmas Edition Piano Course by MusicITeach is an introduction to the piano, and includes easy Christmas carols. The course is structured to take you from the very first piano lesson through learning 5+ Christmas carols. Just as children learn to speak by first seeing and hearing, then copying, the student will learn by hearing instruction, observing the instruction demonstrated on a grand piano, and then copying on their own instrument. The time recommended to complete this course is four to eight weeks with daily practice encouraged.
In this course, the student will learn how the piano is played, how the keys work, and how to identify the notes on the piano. Proper hand position and technique are demonstrated to ensure the new student builds a solid foundation in excellence. The lecture on primary chords in the key of C Major will open up limitless possibilities for learning to play by ear and to improvise.
