About this course
This course is meant as a follow up or complement to your prior PHP learning. You should know the basics of PHP and SQL or be in the process of learning how to use PHP with a database. It assumes you are familiar with the basic syntax of PHP, variables, functions, conditional structures etc. and how to create tables, insert, delete, and update records via SQL (Structured Query Language) in a MySQL database server via PHP.

- A user registration and login system is the basis of most web applications suchs as content managment systems, social networks, games, forums, ecommerce stores etc. After taking this course you will learn how to build a simple user registration and login system.
What is the target audience?
- You must be familiar with creating and debugging scripts using PHP and or MySQL before attempting to code this application. I make no attempt to explain every single line of code. I also assume that you know to consult the PHP or MySQL manuals if you see a PHP function, SQL command or error message that you are not familiar with; or use a search engine to locate further reference material.
