ISS01 Social Psychology: An Overview

Seeking out social interactions with other human beings is a natural part of being human. Social psychology, as a field, studies how our thoughts, feelings, and behavior are related to and influenced by others. While there are many disciplines interested in individual thoughts and behaviors, social psychology looks beyond the individual to the group or social system. This course will look at the field of social psychology, its history, and how social psychologists study groups and societal behaviors.
