HNS08 Safety and the Physical Environment for Children

The physical environment of an early care and education setting can influence a child's physical and psychological comfort, which may influence the child's behavior and ability to learn. A space for young children needs to be inviting to children, parents or guardians, and staff. This course will discuss the most common elements of a healthy indoor and outdoor early childhood setting in the United States.
