HNS06 Managing Infectious Diseases in Children

While child care and educational environments are generally happy, safe, and fun settings for learning, they are also ideal settings to pass along germs that cause illness and infection. Because of the nature of the population served is young children, diseases and infections will always find their way into the environment. This course will discuss the causes of disease, categories of infectious disease and illness, and how to minimize illness and infection in early child care settings.
