About this course
For those that take the alternative fitness career pathway into fitness education and who choose to work as an assessor, further progression can be achieved through training to become an internal verifier or internal quality assurer. The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills to effectively plan and carry out internal quality assurance activities within a team of assessors.
The qualification is delivered via distance learning, with tutor support available throughout the process to assist with challenging theoretical concepts and assessment preparation.
At the end of the qualification learners should understand how to plan the internal quality assurance of assessment, understand techniques and criteria for monitoring the quality of assessment internally, understand the legal and good practice requirements for the internal quality assurance of assessment, and be able to competently plan and carry out internal quality assurance of assessment activities.
