About this course
Adlerian psychology emphasizes understanding how a client uses his or her beliefs about life to achieve goals. Adlerian psychology developed during the late 19th and early 20th centuries from the ideas of Alfred Adler. He believed that we construct our reality according to our own way of looking at the world and that the person must be viewed as a whole. This course will discuss the basic concepts of Adlerian psychology, the practice of Adlerian counseling, and how Adlerian counseling is similar and different from other theoretical approaches.
