About this course
This qualification is ideal for staff development and training within the workplace. Learners will develop knowledge and skills in fundamental areas including health and well-being; legislation, frameworks and professional practice; play, development and learning for school readiness; and professional development.
The course has twenty-three mandatory units, which cover key skills related to the role, including safeguarding, promoting healthy lifestyles and emotional well-being, developing children's literacy and mathematical skills, and planning to promote the development of children. Learners will develop their knowledge base and confidence, enabling improved performance in their role.
