About this course
Self-regulation is an important concept in childhood development because it related to effortful control and temperament. Both self-regulation and effortful control are connected to an infant's or toddler's moral development. Moral development as well as an understanding of gender begin in infancy and toddlerhood. This course will provide an overview of the beginning development for infants and toddlers in the areas of self-regulation, moral development, gender roles, and peer interactions.
