MMMS09 Language for Learning

Beginning at birth, children focus on learning. Preliteracy skills are part of what children are acquiring as they move through the early childhood years. What happens in the preschool years has a significant impact on children's ability to acquire the needed academic skills for success. This course will discuss the practical aspect of language acquisition in early childhood as well as the relationship between language, learning, and school success.
