MMMS03 Learning Language: How Children Do It

By age 2, young children can speak clearly enough to be understood and will continue to develop a substantial vocabulary and complexity to their language. The process of language development occurs throughout childhood. This course covers the skills necessary to acquire a first language as well as the environmental factors that affect learning. This course also discusses the mistakes children make as they learn language and what the mistakes tell us about what children are learning.
