Helping Children & Adolescents Cope with Violence & Disasters

Each year children and adolescents face many traumas. Young people are injured, see others harmed by violence, suffer sexual abuse, lose loved ones, or witness other tragic events. These young survivors of trauma need extra support. Parents, first responders, and community members can provide effective support for these young survivors of trauma.
