About this course
Sleeping and eating are critical aspects of our existence. We sleep close to 3,000 hours per year, which means we spend about one-third of our lives asleep. However, about 40% of us do not get enough sleep. A lack of proper sleep can lead to health and psychological illness. Eating disorders can also lead to illness. Eating disorders refer to extreme disturbances in eating behavior surrounding a person's weight. This course will discuss the major sleep and eating disorders, their similarities and differences, and treatments.
