About this course
Until the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5th Edition), or DSM-5, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder was classified as an anxiety disorder. While it now has its own category (Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders), these disorders still shared many of the same symptoms of intense anxiety. This course will provide an overview of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, including sources of their development, key terms associated with anxiety, and how these disorders are treated.
